Visual - Although some of the visual options may not be pleasant to your eyes, they are inexpensive and easy to use. One particular woodpecker repellent kit available is offered by Bird-B-Gone which includes a balloon with large predator eyes on it, a 50-foot roll of Flash (reflective) Tape and the hardware to install the items.
